Connection Steps
Plug in the OBD device, enable Bluetooth, and connect automatically on iOS or Android.
Turn on Bluetooth
Turn on your phone's Bluetooth.

1. Open Bluetooth/GPS in the phone control center.

2. Enable location permission, and select Only allowed when using this application.
Starting from Android 6.0, you need to enable location permission to search for BLE devices.

3. Enable nearby device permissions, and select Allow. Some newer Android phones need this setting to allow the device connection.

Open the app to connect automatically
Once the above preparations are ready, open the OBD Home app — the product connects automatically, and you can start to detect the vehicle.

If the app does not connect automatically, try the Manual Connection steps. Still stuck? See Can't Scan Bluetooth and the FAQs.
